Cookie Policy (EU)
VAYCOM
This cookie policy was last updated on 7 October 2026 and applies to citizens and permanent legal residents of the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
1. Introduction
Our website, https://vaycom-e.com/ (hereinafter: "the website"), is owned by VAYCOM, the data controller. The website uses cookies and other related technologies (for convenience, all technologies are called "cookies"). This document informs you about the use of cookies on our website.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file that is sent along with the pages of this website and that your browser stores on the hard drive of your computer or other device. The stored information may be returned to our servers or to the servers of appropriate third parties during a later visit.
3. What are scripts?
A script is a piece of program code used to make our website work properly and interactively. This code runs on our server or on your device.
4. What is a web beacon?
A web beacon (or pixel tag) is a small, invisible piece of text or image on a website used to monitor traffic on a website. Our website does not use web beacons.
5. Cookies
5.1 Technical or functional cookies
Some cookies ensure that certain parts of the website work properly and that your choice about cookies is remembered. We may place these cookies without your consent, because the law does not require it for this purpose (Art. 22.2 LSSI).
5.2 Statistics cookies
Our website does not use statistics or measurement cookies.
5.3 Marketing/tracking cookies
Our website does not use marketing, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not build browsing profiles.
5.4 Third-party content
The contact page includes a Google Maps map (Google LLC), which is only loaded if you accept it; once loaded, Google may set its own cookies. The home page includes a YouTube video in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set tracking cookies until it is played.
6. Cookies used
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Expiry | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
vaycom_consent | vaycom-e.com (first-party) | Stores your choice about cookies so that we do not ask you again | 12 months | Technical (no consent required) |
| Google Maps (Google cookies) | Google LLC | Displaying the map on the contact page | As set by Google | Third-party (only with your consent) |
YouTube video (youtube-nocookie.com) | Google LLC | Playing the home page video in enhanced privacy mode | As set by Google | Third-party (cookie-free mode until played) |
6.1 International data transfers
The Google Maps map is provided by Google LLC (United States), which may process data outside the European Economic Area. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has declared adequate, and also applies standard contractual clauses. You can consult Google's privacy policy. If you reject the map, no transfer takes place.
7. Consent
The first time you visit the website we show you a notice with this information and three equally accessible options: reject, configure and accept. Until you choose, we do not set any non-technical cookie, we do not load the Google Maps map, and continuing to browse does not amount to accepting it. Under "configure" you can switch the map on or off separately; technical cookies cannot be switched off because the website does not work without them.
You can also close the notice without choosing, with the "×": this is equivalent to not giving your consent, so the map is not loaded, the notice does not reappear during that visit and we will ask you again next time.
Your choice is stored for 12 months. After that period, or if we change the purposes of the cookies, we will ask you again.
7.1 How to change or withdraw your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the "Manage consent" tab (bottom-left corner of the screen) or from the "cookies" link in the footer, as easily as you gave it. When you withdraw it, we delete third-party cookies from your browser and the map stops loading.
8. Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies
You can use your Internet browser to delete cookies automatically or manually. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed. Another option is to change your browser settings so that you receive a message each time a cookie is placed. For more information about these options, see the "Help" section of your browser.
Please note that our website may not work properly if all cookies are disabled. If you delete the cookies from your browser, we will ask for your preferences again the next time you visit.
9. Your rights regarding personal data
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to know why your personal data are needed, what will happen to them and how long they will be kept.
- Right of access: the right to access the personal data we hold about you.
- Right of rectification: the right to complete, rectify, delete or block your personal data whenever you wish.
- If you give us your consent to process your data, you have the right to revoke that consent and to have your personal data deleted.
- Right to portability: the right to request all your personal data from the controller and to transfer them in full to another controller.
- Right to object: you may object to the processing of your data, unless there are justified grounds for the processing.
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in the next section. If you have any complaint about how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es). More information in the Privacy policy.
